Seven rooms, and two cottages. Each different, every one lovely. From the 16th-century Attic Room to the light-filled Scarborough suite, our bedrooms and cottages are dressed with care and designed for rest. All are en-suite with smart TV, Elemis toiletries, tea and coffee, and free wifi.

The Stable Cottage
Tucked beside the main hotel in what was once the stabling yard, this charming ground-floor cottage offers a wonderfully private retreat. Perfectly laid out for couples or small families, with your own fully-fitted kitchen and a sunny patio to unwind on.
Facilities include: Two bedrooms (one double, one twin), fully-fitted kitchen, open-plan lounge/dining, smart TV, walk-in shower, outdoor patio with seating and BBQ.
Nelson Room
Our grandest room, a stunning suite of spaces made for those who like a little more of everything. Sink into the four-poster bed, gaze out over the front lawns, and retreat to the lounge when you’re ready for something softer. Extra beds available on request.
Facilities include: Four-poster bed, separate lounge, smart TVs, tea and coffee facilities, marble ensuite with large bath and walk-in shower. Roll-out beds available.
Room 7
Flooded with light from twin aspect windows that frame the courtyard gardens and back lawns, the Hamilton is a suite of real character and generosity. A wonderfully calm and spacious retreat in the heart of the house.

Steeped in more than five centuries of history, our ancient attic room is one of the oldest in the building, dating back to the 16th century. Low beams, small leaded windows overlooking the courtyard, atmospheric in the very best sense.
